My name is Christie Mattina. I graduated from the New York College of Health Professions in December of 1998, with an associates degree in massage therapy. I got my NY State license in March of 1999 and have been practicing massage therapy since. I am a Reiki Master and have been practicing Reiki since June of 2002. Having a firm belief in bettering my skills I have maintained a steady course of continuing education throughout the years. Most recently I attended the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and have become a Certified Holistic Health Counselor.
My goal is to have a well rounded education to offer my clients the best treatment I can. Knowing the body, mind, and spirit all connect as one, its vital to encompass all aspects. Massage to help heal the physical body, Reiki to aid with the energetic and mental bodies and nutrition to fuel the body properly. All these modalities mold together in what I can only hope can bring balance to my clients.
While I know not all people have connecting energies I hope to be given the chance to help as many people as I can. If I feel I am not the right therapist for you I will certainly assist you in finding someone who's more suited to fit your needs.
